THE ARANAMI" is released in years when the rice is hard. The hardness of the rice means that the flavor is relatively slow to develop, and the freshly pressed sake has a light flavor. We wanted to express this flavor well, and since the brewery is located in Niigata, we wanted to challenge ourselves to make a "light and dry" sake. This sake was created with this in mind. It is a punchy sake made with the characteristics of Abe Sake Brewery to create a light and dry sake, filled with elements that people find spicy.

 

Ingredients: rice (100% Niigata rice), rice koji (Niigata rice)
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Yeast: Niigata G9
Release date: Year when the rice is hard
Alcohol content: Varies depending on the year of production. See the label on the back of the sake.
